Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups

    Apple cider

  • 3 oz

    Don Julio Anejo Tequila

  • 1.5 oz

    Fall Spiced Simple Syrup

  • The juice of 1 lime

  • The juice of half a navel orange

  • Spiced Sugar Rim*

  • 1 tbsp

    cane sugar, or granulated sugar

  • 1/4 tsp

    ground ginger

  • 1/4 tsp

    ground cinnamon

  • garnish

    Spiced Sugar Rim & Apple Slice/Cinnamon Stick

Preparation

  • Combine sugar rim ingredients with a fork in a shallow bowl or on a plate.
  • Moisten the rims of 2 cocktail glasses with a lime wedge and dip into the sugar mixture.
  • Fill the glasses with ice.
  • Add all cocktail ingredients to a medium-to-large shaker.
  • Shake well and pour evenly into the 2 glasses.
  • Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon slicks if desired.
